Wendy Williams reportedly has no plans to return to television

Des Moines, IAEntertainment

Wendy Williams plans to focus on speaking engagements and advocacy rather than returning to television, her attorney Joe Tacopina stated. He emphasized her desire to expose injustices surrounding guardianships, saying, “If someone is going to be in this situation, better me with a platform. ” Friends revealed that Williams is considering a speaking tour to discuss her own experiences and educate families about guardianship issues. This shift in focus comes after she has been under a guardianship since May 2022. Earlier reports suggested she had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, claims Williams has denied.

Tacopina believes those reports are false and suspects her guardian may have leaked the information. He plans for Williams to undergo a medical exam by a neutral physician to contest the guardianship. Williams remains optimistic, asserting, “I will get out of guardianship.
