Bloodworks Northwest bringing back Puck and Pint Blood Drive on Thursday, May 30
The Seattle Kraken and Bloodworks Northwest will host the Puck and Pint Blood Drive on May 30, 2024, from 11 a. m. to 5 p. m. at the Kraken Community Iceplex.
This initiative aims to combat the "Deadliest 100 Days," a critical time when blood donations typically drop significantly. All donors will receive a Pucks and Pints t-shirt as a token of appreciation for their support. Bloodworks Northwest stresses the importance of maintaining a robust blood supply to assist local hospitals during shortages. The event encourages community engagement and highlights the vital role of blood donations in healthcare. Participants can register for the event at bloodworksnw.
org/pucks, with limited spaces available. Historically, the summer months see a decline in blood donations, making this drive particularly crucial. By participating, donors contribute to saving lives and supporting their community.
