Walk Longacres Natural Area with WABI Weekday Walkers on Wednesday, Oct 15

WABI Weekday Walkers will hold a guided walk through Longacres Natural Area on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 9 a. m. , meeting at the Tukwila Sounders Train Station. This 158-acre site, once home to a prominent racetrack, has been revitalized into a scenic area featuring wildlife, ponds, and walking paths. The walk will span approximately 2.

25 miles and is expected to last about one hour, allowing participants to enjoy birdwatching and the fall foliage. The route includes paved pathways and segments of the Springbrook trail bordering the Black River. Parking is available at the station, and attendees are encouraged to arrive 5-10 minutes early for a prompt start. Pets are not permitted on the trails.
