South King Housing and Homelessness Partners makes 3.5 million available for affordable housing in South King County

The South King Housing and Homelessness Partners (SKHHP) has opened its 2025 Housing Capital Fund, making $3. 5 million available for affordable housing initiatives in South King County. This funding aims to bolster housing options for low-income residents and enhance long-term affordability in quickly developing areas. SKHHP, formed through an interlocal agreement among several jurisdictions, has previously committed $11. 2 million, contributing to the creation or preservation of approximately 700 affordable housing units.

Housing developers dedicated to addressing local housing needs are invited to apply for this funding. Interested parties must schedule a pre-application meeting by August 4, 2025, and submit an intent to apply form beforehand. The deadline for completed applications is set for 3 p. m. on September 3, 2025.
