UPDATE 16-year-old dies at scene after shooting in Burien home Friday

A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot inside a home in Burien on June 20, 2025. King County Sheriff's Office confirmed the shooting occurred around 5:03 p. m. , prompting a swift response from deputies and medics. Upon arrival, first responders found the teen with gunshot wounds and attempted to revive him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
