The outage began at 1:59 p. m. on June 18, 2025, and has affected neighborhoods near Sea-Tac Airport. Crews are currently dispatched to investigate the cause, which remains unidentified.

Initial restoration estimates projected a return of power by 8:56 p. m. , but officials have since revised this to 6:41 p. m. Customers can monitor the situation through the Seattle City Light outage map.
