Man found fatally shot in car outside Burien restaurant early Wednesday

A man was found dead in a vehicle outside El Pique Restaurant in Burien early Wednesday morning, June 18, 2025. The shooting took place around 2 a. m. , leading to a swift response from the King County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies discovered the victim fatally shot inside the parked car upon arrival.

The investigation is being handled by the KCSO Major Crimes Unit, which has yet to release any suspect information. Authorities kept the restaurant's area active for evidence collection and witness interviews. KCSO emphasized that this remains an active investigation with ongoing developments.
