Town Hall set for Tuesday, July 8 with focus on Sound Transit expansion

King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer will host a Town Hall with Sound Transit CEO Dow Constantine on July 8, 2025, from 7 – 8 a. m. at KO-AM TV in Federal Way. The discussion will heavily focus on the Federal Way Downtown Station, a vital part of the Link Light Rail expansion that aims to improve regional transit access. “This Town Hall provides an excellent opportunity for a dialogue between Sound Transit and our local community,” von Reichbauer stated.

Residents and stakeholders can ask questions and receive updates directly from agency leadership regarding ongoing projects. Community members are encouraged to RSVP through a QR code or an online form. The event seeks to foster local engagement in public transportation developments and infrastructure improvements.
