Walk-n-Talk Buriens Indian Trail this Sunday, June 1

Burien, WALocal News

Burien's Indian Trail will host a free walking event on June 1, starting at 2:00 p. m. Participants will gather at SW 167th Place and 31st Ave. SW to begin a scenic 3-mile round trip walk. The trail, historically used by Native American tribes, offers varied terrain and stunning views, including a 180-degree vista of the Puget Sound region.

Walkers should prepare for significant elevation changes, as the path includes both steep descents and climbs, with some areas being less accessible. Parking is available in the nearby Gregory Heights neighborhood, but attendees are encouraged to carpool to ease parking challenges. Refreshments may be found at the Three Tree Point Store, a popular stop among walkers. The event promotes community engagement and encourages participants to go at their own pace. Friendly dogs are also invited to join the adventure.
