Burien Arts puts out Call for Art Fashion for its June 28 ARTvant-Garde Gala

Burien Arts will host its “ARTvant-Garde! ” Gala on June 28, 2025, from 6 to 8 p. m. at the SeaTac Community Center. This sixth annual event invites artists, fashion designers, and art lovers to celebrate creativity and community.

Attendees are encouraged to don creative costumes or cocktail attire, enhancing the festive atmosphere. Notably, artists will manage their own sales without any commission taken by Burien Arts. A new fashion runway will circle the ballroom, showcasing wearable art from local designers. Artists can rent display panels for showcasing original artwork, with many pieces priced under $200. Participation fees for artists range from $25 to $100, and submissions are due by June 1.

The event aims to foster community engagement and promote local talent in the arts scene.
