On August 2, 2022, Downtown Burien will celebrate National Night Out from 5:30 to 8 p. m. at Town Square Park. This free event, organized by Discover Burien, will feature complimentary hot dogs and hamburgers for attendees. Residents can meet Burien Police Department officers, fostering community engagement and trust.

Activities will include games and live music, making it a festive atmosphere for families and neighbors. Such events are crucial for building community bonds and enhancing neighborhood safety.
