OBIT Ronald Ray Geiger passed away April 25, 2025 at the age of 83

Ronald Ray Geiger, a dedicated family man, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025, at the age of 83 in Tappahannock, Virginia. Known for his integrity and commitment to community service, he had a career that spanned multiple industries, including construction, music booking, and financial advising. After graduating from the University of Washington and the University of Virginia, he established his own investment advisory firm in 2010. Geiger served on the boards of various organizations, including the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra and Tappahannock Rotary Club, showcasing his dedication to local causes. He is survived by his beloved wife, Penny, and two daughters, Kristin and Paige, as well as three grandsons.

The family requests donations to Jacob’s Ladder or Tappahannock Presbyterian Church in lieu of flowers. A Celebration of Life is set for May 15 at Marks-Bristow Funeral Home. Geiger's contributions to his community will be fondly remembered by those he touched.
