MIBBB Fest 2025 will take place from June 13 to June 22 in Des Moines, Washington, celebrating the 1947 Maury Island Incident. This year's festival expands to nine days, featuring events like an alien abductee look-alike contest and a scavenger hunt at Westfield Southcenter Mall. The incident is significant as it prompted the first reported encounter with the Men in Black. The festival will screen the award-winning film "The Maury Island Incident" on June 20, followed by a drag queen-hosted trivia contest. On June 21, attendees can participate in the Men in Black Birthday Bash, where guests dress in black and white for music and entertainment.

Notably, the festival concludes on June 22 with the "Sparky’s Revenge Dog Flying Disc Tournament," honoring a pet allegedly lost during the 1947 encounter. Tickets for various events are available on Eventbrite, with some activities free of charge. MIBBB Fest aims to engage the community in local history and mythology surrounding UFO phenomena.
