Volunteers needed for Memorial Day weekend flag placement in SeaTac

Volunteers are invited to participate in a flag placement event at Bonney Watson Memorial Park in SeaTac on May 25, 2024, from 9 a. m. to 12 p. m. This initiative is part of the Memorial Day observance, where flags are placed at the graves of veterans to honor their service.

“We welcome all to be part of this special event,” organizers said, noting that complimentary pizza will be available for volunteers. Bonney Watson Memorial Park has been honoring military veterans since 1931, making it a significant site for remembrance.
