ELECTION RESULTS 2 School Bond approved, Manion likely next Prosecutor

Voters in the Highline School District approved Proposition No. 1, which allows funding for new schools and emergency repairs, garnering 66. 29% support. Superintendent Dr. Ivan Duran expressed gratitude to the community for their backing.

In the race for King County Prosecutor, Leesa Manion leads Jim Ferrell by 11 points, with Manion receiving 55. 44% of the votes counted. Karen Keiser holds a significant lead in Legislative District No. 33, with 69. 01% of the vote, while Joe Nguyen dominates in District No.

34 with 85. 20%. The voter turnout was approximately 31% across various districts. The results show a clear preference for educational funding and continuity in local governance. The next round of election results will be released on Thursday, Nov.
