A Final Note Scott Babcock will conduct his last Halftime Show at Highline Highs Homecoming Game Friday night

Highline High School will honor band leader Scott Babcock during its Homecoming Game on October 25, 2024, as he conducts his final performance. Over his 30-year tenure at the school, Babcock influenced more than 1,000 students through his leadership of concert, jazz, and symphonic bands. The halftime show will feature three songs, after which the Homecoming Court will be introduced. In addition to his role as band director, Babcock taught and coached tennis, showcasing his commitment to student development. His retirement coincides with the school’s upcoming 100th anniversary, marking a significant transition for the community.

Babcock's passion for music education has left an indelible mark, nurturing a love for music in countless students.
