Des Moines Police are actively seeking help to locate 14-year-old Abner Rodriguez Herrera, reported missing since he left his home for school on October 22, 2024. Abner has not returned, alarming his family about his safety. He was last seen wearing a black sweater and vest, and authorities believe he may be in Burien due to his connections there. Police remind the public that Washington law prohibits harboring a minor without parental consent, emphasizing community responsibility in such situations. Abner is bilingual, with Spanish as his primary language, which may aid in communication if he is found.
