Man shot, killed in North Burien early Saturday morning identified

Robert Miera Bautista, 42, was identified as the victim of a shooting in North Burien by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office. The shooting occurred early Saturday morning, May 4, 2024, at approximately 1 a. m. in the 11800 block of 1st Ave South. King County Sheriff’s Office deputies located Bautista with multiple gunshot wounds, but despite immediate life-saving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The Medical Examiner confirmed that multiple gunshot wounds caused his death. Friends and family are mourning Bautista, offering their deepest sympathies to those affected by this tragic event.
