A shooting incident in Burien early Wednesday morning, April 16, 2025, has left one individual hospitalized. The King County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded to gunfire near Highline Christian Church at approximately 3:40 a. m. Upon arrival, they located a victim with gunshot wounds, who was then transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment. The severity of the victim's injuries has not been released, nor have any details regarding the motive behind the shooting.

The investigation remains active, and no arrests have been made at this time. In a statement, the sheriff's office emphasized their commitment to providing updates as more information becomes available.
