Highline Community Symphonic Band to perform free concert to benefit Burien C.A.R.E.S on Sunday, May 18
The Highline Community Symphonic Band will host a free spring concert, titled “ROAR! Purrfect Harmony: A Concert for Pet Lovers! ” on Sunday, May 18, at 2 p. m. in the Highline High School Theater.
This event, led by Director Corinne Smith, is a heartfelt tribute to animals, their owners, and rescue pets, aiming to create a joyful atmosphere for pet lovers. Attendees can expect a lively performance, with donations welcomed to support Burien C. A. R. E.
S. Animal Shelter. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the shelter, reflecting the band's commitment to animal welfare. The concert is supported by the City of Burien and King County 4Culture, showcasing the community's investment in local arts and charitable initiatives.
