The Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce and the Success Foundation celebrated the grand opening of their new shared office in SeaTac on April 9, 2025, with a lively ribbon-cutting ceremony that attracted local leaders and community members. This event not only marked the opening of the new office but also the co-location of the Chamber and Explore Seattle Southside, emphasizing collaboration in promoting regional economic vitality. SeaTac City Councilmember Peter Kwon highlighted the importance of the Chamber as a strategic partner in the city’s growth. Attendees enjoyed breakfast from El Taco Grande and had the opportunity to tour the new facilities while meeting the Chamber staff, including several new hires. Success Foundation Board Chair Bob Livingston spoke about the collective economic strength of the region and the commitment to diversity and inclusion.

The Chamber aims to continue supporting small businesses and workforce development initiatives from this new base. Livingston's remarks underscored a shift in the Chamber's approach, as he noted, “This is not your grandparents’ Chamber of Commerce. ” The organization plans to offer shared conference space and community programs to enhance business engagement in the area.
