Help beautify Downtown Burien sponsor a hanging flower basket

Burien, WALocal News

Discover Burien is once again inviting community members to sponsor hanging flower baskets, a delightful initiative aimed at beautifying downtown Burien for the spring and summer seasons. These vibrant baskets will adorn historic light posts throughout the area from May through October, each featuring a personalized nameplate. For a donation of $125, residents can honor a loved one or community member while enhancing the city's charm. The nameplates will remain attached to the poles, serving as a lasting tribute until the baskets are removed in the fall, with options available for patrons to keep their plaques as keepsakes. This initiative not only adds color and beauty to the streets but also fosters a sense of community pride.

Additionally, sponsors can purchase multiple baskets to honor more than one individual, making it a versatile opportunity for recognition. Custom dedication messages are also included during checkout, ensuring a personal touch. Interested patrons can easily purchase their baskets on the Discover Burien website, contributing to a vibrant community atmosphere.
