Join WABI Weekday Walkers in Longacres on Wednesday, April 9

The WABI Weekday Walkers invite the community to join them for a refreshing walk at the Longacres Natural Area on April 9, 2025. This picturesque site, previously a horse-racing track, now spans 158 acres of lush forest with serene ponds and diverse wildlife. Participants will embark on a scenic 2. 75-mile loop along paved pathways, including a portion of the Springbrook trail bordering the Black River. The walk is expected to take just over an hour, making it a great way to enjoy the outdoors and connect with nature.

The gathering will commence at 10 a. m. at the Tukwila Train Station, with attendees encouraged to arrive 5-10 minutes early for a timely start. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on the trails during this event.
