B-TOWN BIZ Burien's Logan Brewing expanding into former Airways Brewing location in Kent - The B-Town (Burien) Blog

Burien, WALocal News

Logan Brewing, a Burien-based brewery, has announced its plans to expand by taking over the former Airways Brewing production brewery and taproom in Kent. Currently, the brewery is working through the permitting process and anticipates reopening the taproom this summer. The new location aims to create a family-friendly and dog-friendly environment, fostering community engagement. Chris Palumbo, the owner of Logan Brewing, expressed his enthusiasm for deepening the brewery's roots in South King County, stating, “Born in Burien, made in Kent. ” The closure of Airways Brewing after 14 years left a significant legacy, and Logan Brewing is committed to continuing that tradition.

The expansion is expected to increase production capacity and attract a broader customer base. More announcements regarding the taproom's opening date and planned events will be shared in the upcoming months. This venture highlights a growing trend of local breweries expanding their footprint in the region, contributing to the vibrant craft beer culture.
