Monthly Resource Days at Burien Library provide help for those in need

The Burien Library is proud to present monthly Resource Days, designed to assist community members in need by connecting them with vital services. Held on the second Tuesday of each month from 11 a. m. to 2 p. m.

, these events serve as a crucial link to local and state resources. Upcoming dates include March 11, April 8, May 13, June 10, July 8, August 12, September 9, October 14, and December 9. Attendees can find support programs, transportation assistance, health resources, and social services through collaborative efforts with local organizations, notably the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services' Mobile Office. Organizers emphasize the importance of these Resource Days, stating, “Resource Days are a great way for individuals and families to connect with services that can help improve their quality of life. ” All services provided during these events are free and accessible to everyone, encouraging participation from those who may benefit.
