For those experiencing homelessness, the city is partnering with the Highline United Methodist Church to provide a severe weather shelter. All classes and programs starting before 10 a.

m. on December 1 have been canceled, while later classes will continue as scheduled, adhering to the Highline School District's closure policy. Residents can stay informed by following local news outlets, the National Weather Service, and the City of Burien’s social media channels.
