Two detained after pursuit ends in crash into West Seattle building

In a dramatic incident in West Seattle, two suspects were detained after leading police on a high-speed chase that culminated in a crash into a building. The pursuit began when King County sheriff's deputies responded to reports of gunfire in Burien, prompting them to locate the suspect vehicle. The chase escalated, ending when the suspects crashed their car at the intersection of Southwest Andover Street and Delridge Way Southwest. Fortunately, both suspects—identified as a 41-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man—managed to self-extricate from the wreckage. Emergency responders from the Seattle Fire Department were called to the scene, and both individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for evaluation.

Reports indicate that both suspects are now in stable condition as they recover. The KCSO, along with the Seattle Police Department, is leading the ongoing investigation into the incident. This situation highlights the dangers surrounding police pursuits and the associated risks to public safety.
