Burien, WALocal News

Pooch Playoffs 2025 is gearing up to provide a platform for local dog owners to display their beloved pets while raising funds for CARES of Burien and Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary. The bracket-style competition begins on March 28, 2025, with dogs competing in a fun, March Madness-inspired format, and the winner will be announced on April 4, advancing to an international round on April 6. Clover Laine Photography is looking for 24 additional canine contestants to complete the lineup, with a reduced entry donation of $125 compared to the standard $285 fee. Each participant will receive a swag bag filled with goodies, a unique metal keychain featuring their pet’s portrait, and an opportunity to purchase artwork of their dogs. This event not only celebrates the joy of pet ownership but also supports crucial animal welfare initiatives, as organizers stress the importance of giving back to the community.

The competition is an excellent opportunity for local dog lovers to engage with fellow pet enthusiasts while contributing to a worthy cause. Dog owners interested in participating can secure their spot through the Clover Laine Photography website, emphasizing the limited number of available spots. For more information about the benefiting organizations, links to their websites are provided for those looking to learn more about their impactful work.
