PHOTOS Highline Pirates sunk by Issaquah as Eagles fly away with 470 win

Burien, WALocal News

Highline High School's Pirates varsity football team faced a significant loss against the Issaquah Eagles, falling 47–0 on September 26. The Eagles demonstrated their prowess by scoring consistently throughout the game, with Highline unable to secure any points. Despite averaging 46. 3 passing yards per game entering this conference match, the Pirates struggled offensively and failed to capitalize on opportunities. This defeat underscores a challenging season for Highline, who now holds a record of 1–3.

The Pirates aim to regroup as they continue league play, with their next game set against North Creek at 7 p. m. on October 3 at Pop Keeney Stadium. Fans are encouraged to support the team by purchasing tickets for the upcoming home games. The result also raises questions about the team's strategy and performance moving forward.

Highline will need to adjust quickly to turn their season around.
