Trillium Kids to celebrate Grand Opening in Burien this weekend

Trillium Kids will host its grand opening in downtown Burien on September 26 and 27, 2025, offering a unique selection of children’s clothing and toys. The boutique, founded by mother-daughter team Chelsey Hancock and Monica Barret, is designed to evoke joy and curiosity. The opening weekend will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a. m. on Friday, complemented by free cookies from Treat Cookies.

Customers can also participate in a scavenger hunt and spin a prize wheel with any purchase. On Saturday, a custom embroidery event from Tita Bun Co. will allow shoppers to personalize clothing. Those spending $150 will receive a complimentary $25 embroidery service, enhancing the shopping experience. The store embodies the spirit of the Pacific Northwest, inspired by the trillium flower.
