The Northwest Symphony Orchestra will launch its 2025-26 season with a family concert titled "Adventures and Heroes" on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 7:30 p. m. at the Highline Performing Arts Center. Music Director Anthony Spain will conduct a diverse program that includes Rossini’s William Tell Overture and Beethoven’s Symphony No.

5, alongside contemporary pieces like Kathryn Griesinger’s Epic Adventure. This concert not only showcases classical masterpieces but also aims to engage younger audiences, as evidenced by the inclusion of a solo performance from Avi Spillers, a Mount Rainier High School student and Key to Change violinist.
