Buriens Kennedy Catholic football Lancers surge past Kentwood 49-14 under Friday night lights

Kennedy Catholic's football team secured a commanding 49-14 victory against Kentwood on September 26 in a North Puget Sound League game. The Lancers took control early, scoring 14 points in the first quarter and extending their lead to 35-14 by halftime. Kentwood scored its two touchdowns during the second quarter but struggled to keep pace with Kennedy Catholic. Dante Saladino's performance was notable, as he delivered three touchdown passes to Jordan Noel, showcasing the Lancers' potent offense. Nikko Lecksiwilai also contributed with two rushing touchdowns.

This victory marks another significant step in Kennedy Catholic's pursuit of league success. The Lancers' next challenge comes against Auburn on October 2, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p. m. The team's strong performance reflects its commitment to a successful season.
