Burien Police, K9 Axil arrest man wanted on felony and DUI warrants

A man wanted on felony and misdemeanor warrants was arrested in Burien after he attempted to flee from deputies during a business contact at a gas station. The suspect faced a felony warrant for possession of a stolen vehicle and a misdemeanor DUI warrant. When deputies tried to apprehend him, he fled the scene, prompting a search that involved a K9 unit. Later that night, K9 Axil and his handler successfully tracked down the suspect. Upon his arrest, the man was booked not only on the outstanding warrants but also on additional local charges.

Burien Police thanked the deputies and K9 Axil for their efforts in ensuring public safety. This incident highlights the effectiveness of K9 units in law enforcement operations.
