Burien, WALocal News

Lollipops Consignment Shop in Burien will close its doors permanently on September 26, 2025, ending nearly five decades of service to the community. The owners expressed their gratitude in a Facebook post, thanking customers and consignors for their unwavering support over the years. They confirmed that all credits will be honored until the final day of operations. To mark their closing, Lollipops is offering a 40% discount on all items throughout their last month in business. The current owners have celebrated Burien families and their children, emphasizing the significance of community support during their six years of ownership.

The shop's closure marks the end of an era for a beloved local business that has been a resource for families in the area. Lollipops has operated in a location that was previously home to Wright’s Grocery, further embedding it within the local history. This closure reflects a broader trend of challenges faced by small businesses in maintaining longevity in changing economic climates.
