Burien Police say drug sales tied to local restaurant sparked recent methcocaine bust

Burien police arrested a suspected drug trafficker linked to a months-long narcotics investigation. The investigation began after police received a tip in August about drug activity at a local restaurant, prompting the Precinct 4 Special Emphasis Team to conduct surveillance. Detectives identified the suspect selling narcotics in Burien and several surrounding cities, including SeaTac, Woodinville, and Bellevue. Notably, investigators observed sales occurring within 1,000 feet of a Bellevue middle school, raising concerns about community safety. A search warrant executed at the suspect's Bellevue apartment resulted in the seizure of 1.

07 pounds of methamphetamine and cocaine, over $51,000 in cash, a stolen 9mm handgun, and a 2020 Mustang used for trafficking. The suspect has been booked on multiple charges, including possession with intent to deliver drugs near a school. This operation highlights ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to combat drug trafficking in the region.
