Highline High School Alumni Foundations 2025 golf tournament raises record 15,173

The Highline High School Alumni Foundation's 2025 golf tournament raised a record $15,173 for student scholarships, held on August 22 at the Auburn Golf Course. This fundraising total stands as the highest in the tournament's 22-year history, underscoring the event's growing community support. Foundation President Jeff Ashley stated, "Every dollar goes directly to scholarships," highlighting the organization's commitment to students. Since its founding 30 years ago, the foundation has awarded $1. 3 million in scholarships, benefiting 515 students.

In 2024 alone, they distributed $87,000 to 23 deserving graduates. The foundation seeks new members, including alumni and community supporters, to further its mission. Next year's tournament is set for August 21, 2026, at Auburn Golf Course. This event continues to play a vital role in supporting the educational aspirations of local students.
