UPDATE Washington State Patrol releases new photodetails of car sought in Sept. 13 SR 509 motorcyclist fatal hit and run
Washington State Patrol urges the public to assist in identifying a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run on SR 509 near White Center on Sept. 13, 2025. The crash occurred around 11:40 p. m. when a white Honda Accord struck a motorcycle, resulting in the rider being thrown off.
A gray vehicle subsequently hit the motorcycle, causing the driver's death. The initial suspect vehicle fled the scene, exiting to Meyers Way. Investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a 2016–2017 Honda Accord, which was painted white over its original blue color and likely has front and rear damage. Parts of the bumper were left at the scene, aiding the investigation. Local authorities emphasize the importance of community involvement in solving this tragic incident.
