3 million bail requested for fugitive wanted in connection with White Center Metro Bus murder case

Burien, WALocal News

Prosecutors charged Miguel Rivera Dominguez, 17, with first-degree murder and unlawful possession of a firearm related to the October 3, 2023, shooting death of 21-year-old Marcel Da’jon Wagner on a Metro bus in White Center. Dominguez, who remains at large, faces a requested bail of $3 million. The shooting occurred as the bus traveled with approximately 15 passengers, and video evidence captured the incident. Witnesses reported no prior interaction between Wagner and the suspect, who suddenly shot Wagner as the bus approached a stop. Detectives identified Dominguez through surveillance footage and interviews, confirming he boarded the bus shortly before the shooting.

A nearby Ring camera also recorded Dominguez's acquaintance, known as "GW," in the area immediately after the incident. The case raises significant public safety concerns regarding transit systems and youth violence in Seattle. Wagner's tragic death underscores the urgent need for effective measures to address gun violence in the community.
