TeenSounds is an opportunity for teens to sing, and auditions will be Tuesday, Sept. 9
Northwest Associated Arts is launching the second year of TeenSounds, a youth choir for singers aged 11-19 in South King County. The choir, directed by Dr. Tyler Kimmel, will meet on Tuesday evenings from 6–7:30 p. m. at John Knox Presbyterian Church in Normandy Park.
TeenSounds aims to uplift the community through a diverse selection of music, including classical, pop, Broadway, and folk from various cultures. Auditions are scheduled for September 9, and interested participants must fill out an online registration form. Attendance at rehearsals, especially leading up to concerts at the Highline Performing Arts Center, is required. The program emphasizes inclusivity, welcoming singers with varying levels of experience. Families in need can request financial aid to support participation.
This initiative creates a vibrant space for youth to express themselves through music.
