BAT Theatre to premiere The Coast Starlight on Friday, Sept. 26

BAT Theatre will host the Northwest premiere of The Coast Starlight, a play by Keith Bunin, from September 26 to October 19, 2025. The narrative centers on a young man's journey on a train, where he grapples with a significant secret while engaging with diverse fellow travelers. Artistic Director Maggie Larrick expressed satisfaction in finally obtaining production rights after persistent requests over the years. The 90-minute performance includes adult language and content, described as “a smart, funny, and compassionate story” by BAT. The cast features Joey Sponseller as T.

J. , alongside Ariel Rose and Ben Bailey. Special discount events include “Lucky 13 Saturday” on September 27 and “$7 Sunday” on September 28, with all student tickets available for $5.
