Highline High School Alumni Foundation welcomes Jeff Ashley as its new President

Jeff Ashley has been elected as the President of the Highline High School Alumni Foundation, taking over from Gary Korsgaard after ten years of service. A 1977 graduate, Ashley is committed to growing membership and attracting younger alumni to the foundation. He was honored as the 2022 Alumni of the Year and currently chairs the Athletic Hall of Fame. Since its founding in 1995, the foundation has awarded 515 scholarships worth over $1. 3 million, showcasing its impact on the community.

In 2025 alone, it awarded 23 scholarships totaling $87,000. Tricia Anderson, also a 1977 graduate and 2023 Alumni of the Year, will support Ashley as Vice President. Ashley's extensive background in athletics and community service positions him well for this leadership role. The foundation encourages all alumni and friends to engage with its mission.
