The Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden will hold its annual Ice Cream Social on July 28, 2024, from 11 a. m. to 2 p. m. The first 200 visitors will receive free ice cream, a highlight of the event that has drawn crowds in previous years.

Guest speaker Marianne Binetti will present on “Binetti’s Best Plants for Lazy Gardeners,” sharing valuable gardening tips with attendees. In addition to the presentations, the event will feature kids' crafts and face painting to enhance the family-friendly atmosphere. This social gathering not only offers a sweet treat but also fosters community engagement and promotes gardening education among local residents. The Ice Cream Social has become a beloved tradition, encouraging families to explore the garden and learn about plants. This year's event continues the garden's mission to connect with the community and inspire a love for gardening.
