30 South King County students selected for Success Foundations 2025 Workforce Discovery Lab

The Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce announced the selection of 30 students for its 2025 Workforce Discovery Lab (WDL), aimed at connecting local youth with workforce experiences. The Success Foundation received 261 applications, demonstrating strong interest in career-connected learning in South King County. Participants include students from Raisbeck Aviation High School and Mount Rainier High School. The WDL program will run from August 11 to 15 and features workshops hosted by local employers in sectors like technology, healthcare, and hospitality. Students will also engage in a Masterclass series focused on essential skills such as resume writing and public speaking.

Each of the selected students will receive a $500 stipend upon graduation, acknowledging their commitment to professional development. Samantha Le, Executive Director of the Success Foundation, emphasized the program’s role as a bridge between education and employment. The Success Foundation aims to empower individuals and communities through education and workforce development initiatives.
