Burien Actors Theatre (BAT) will present free outdoor performances of "The Guardsman" starting July 25, 2025, in South King County parks. This adaptation, set in the vibrant 1980s, follows an actor who takes on a daring role to test his wife's affection. Shows will occur in SeaTac, Burien, Renton, Normandy Park, and Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden, concluding on August 17. Audiences are encouraged to enhance their experience by supporting local eateries with takeout or dining options before and after the shows. The performances last about 90 minutes and are directed by Rachel Rene, who has a history with BAT's park productions.

The cast includes Adrian Cerrato, Olivia Robinson, and Sumedha Kshirsagar, among others. BAT, a nonprofit since 1980, has been a cornerstone of live theater in Burien since 1955, focusing on diverse and engaging productions.
