Deputies investigating fatal shooting at home in North Highline

A man is in custody after he reported a shooting at his home in unincorporated King County early Thursday morning, July 24, 2025. Deputies responded shortly after midnight to find a deceased individual on his property in the North Highline area. The King County Medical Examiner’s Office later removed the body for examination. The Major Crimes Unit is leading the investigation, which remains ongoing. Authorities have not confirmed the details surrounding the shooting or if charges will be filed against the man.
