Meteorologist Michael Snyder from Normandy Park has alerted the community to a "vicious" heat wave expected to hit the region, with temperatures likely soaring into the 90s next week. This heat wave will commence mid-week and may last anywhere from two to four days, according to Snyder, who has a robust background in aviation weather. He highlighted the importance of preparation, stating, "Get ready for the heat folks, it is coming. " The weather forecast shows a transition from milder temperatures, starting with a high of 80 on Thursday, to peak temperatures of 94 degrees by the following Wednesday. Snyder, who is an experienced METAR instructor and former National Weather Service employee, shares his forecasts on his YouTube channel.
