The SeaTac City Council will vote on July 22, 2025, to authorize the acquisition of an 8. 58-acre site for a new Civic Campus at 2701 S. 200th Street, near Angle Lake Station. City officials highlight the site's central location, accessibility by transit, and walkable proximity to parks and trails. A Civic Campus Feasibility Report indicates that this site is optimal for fostering a vibrant community hub where residents can access services and connect with neighbors.

The site is also part of a key redevelopment zone, underscoring its significance in SeaTac’s long-term strategy for a more visible and accessible City Hall. During the council meetings, staff will present a summary of the feasibility report, recommended financing approaches, and purchase agreement terms. The proposal aims to support diverse community uses, including markets, restaurants, and supportive services. City officials express confidence that the site will meet the needs of the SeaTac community effectively. This acquisition reflects a broader commitment to enhancing civic life and accessibility in the region.
