The Environmental Science Center and Sugarcane Yoga are inviting the public to participate in free outdoor yoga sessions at Seahurst Park on July 20 and August 17. Scheduled from 10 to 11 a. m. , these classes are designed for all skill levels, including beginners. Led by local instructor Meagan Lass, the sessions incorporate mindful movement and breathwork while participants immerse themselves in the serene environment of Puget Sound and surrounding forests.

Attendees aged 13 and older should arrive a few minutes early to sign a waiver and bring a yoga mat or beach towel for comfort. The initiative underscores the growing trend of outdoor fitness programs that promote wellness and community engagement. The program aims to foster a deeper connection with nature through movement and mindfulness practices. For those needing accommodations, organizers encourage contacting them via email.
