7 Stories returns Friday night, July 25 with theme Letting Go

The "7 Stories" storytelling event will return on July 25, 2025, at the Highline Heritage Museum, beginning at 7 p. m. This installment features the theme "Letting Go," inviting local residents to share heartfelt, true stories. Admission is free, with donations appreciated to support the community initiative. Each story must be told in under seven minutes and should not be read, emphasizing personal connection and authenticity.

Attendees are encouraged to visit local restaurants or bars in Burien before or after the event. Organizers actively seek storytellers, offering coaching for those who wish to participate. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be streamed live on Facebook, allowing broader community engagement. Upcoming themes for future events include "Awkward," "Way Too Close," and "The One That Got Away.
