Free Movies in the Park returns to Burien Town Square Park, presenting outdoor films every Friday night until August 8, with screenings starting at 8:15 p. m. Each week features a mix of animated hits, musicals, and inclusive programming suitable for all ages. Sponsored by King County Parks and Discover Burien, the event aims to enhance community engagement through accessible entertainment. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and low-back chairs, and leashed pets are allowed, promoting a welcoming atmosphere.

This initiative not only provides free admission but also fosters a sense of community during the summer months. Previous seasons have seen a strong turnout, reinforcing the popularity of outdoor film experiences. The series contributes to local cultural vitality, offering families an opportunity to enjoy films in a communal setting. Such events play a crucial role in enhancing community spirit and providing accessible entertainment options.
